Internships

stages

Full or half-board internships are available for children from 10 to 18 during school holidays.

Trainees achively take part in the farm life.

They take care of the horses (grooming, caring, feeding, harnessing...) they learn the ethology applied to the horses'education and ride 2-3 hours per day.

Accomodation is on site and meals are taken at the common table.

Organized during school holidays, horse-riding internships are available for children from 10 to 18, half or full-board.

Many children, after a ride, would like to spend more time with their horse; these interneships are here to fulfill their expectations !

- "What is it for ?"

Riding a horse is fun...taking care of a horse is even better !

Caring, feeding, grooming, training, pampering take an important part of the day outside riding hours.

- "what do we do ?"

The organization of a day depends of course on the season and the weather !

Generally, kids feed the horses after breakfast, and then tidy their Paddocks.

They then prepare their horses, and let's go !

When they get back, interns take care of their mount until they are returned to their meadow.

After a nice familial meal and a well-deserved rest, they attend hippology classes, they clean their equipment, and after work : hide-end-seek games, picnics in the forest, parties.

Ethology lessons allow children to have different a view of horse-riding :

working on foot, bitless riding...

The day ends with daily horse-grooming.
